Role overview
Design the architecture for a new ERP application built from scratch and integrated with an established SaaS product suite.
The role is remote in Canada and is a contract of six or more months, with a possible extension.
The application will use a .NET/Angular codebase and existing shared platform services.
Key responsibilities
- Own high- and low-level technical design for a zero-to-one enterprise ERP application.
- Design robust, secure integration patterns with the existing SaaS product portfolio.
- Use shared backend services such as identity/access management and data routing.
- Define AWS architecture for high availability, performance, and strict multi-tenant data isolation.
- Partner with engineering leadership to establish technical standards, code generation patterns, and architectural guardrails.
Technical requirements
- Deep expertise in .NET (C#) and microservices architecture.
- Strong architectural understanding of Angular.
- Extensive experience designing cloud-native solutions in AWS.
- Experience with NuGet repository management and internal package sharing.
- Proven experience designing enterprise, multi-tenant SaaS systems; this is a strict must-have.
- A portfolio of projects defining complex SaaS architecture from a blank slate.
Candidate profile
- Adaptable, hands-on startup mentality and pragmatic decision-making that balances speed to market with long-term scalability.
- Familiarity with modern AI coding assistants and understanding of codebases suited to AI-driven development teams.
- Ability to explain complex architectural trade-offs in terms of business impact.
