Role overview
Design the architecture of a new enterprise ERP SaaS application from the ground up.
Build a scalable, multi-tenant system integrated with the company's existing SaaS products and shared platform services.
Key responsibilities
- Own high- and low-level design for the new ERP application.
- Design secure integration patterns between the ERP and existing SaaS products.
- Leverage shared platform services, including unified login, authentication, and data routing.
- Define AWS infrastructure and application architecture for availability, performance, and tenant data isolation.
- Partner with the Engineering Manager and AI-enabled team on technical standards, code-generation patterns, and architectural guardrails.
Technical requirements
- Deep expertise in .NET (C#) and microservices architecture.
- Strong architectural understanding of Angular.
- Extensive AWS cloud-native architecture experience.
- Experience with NuGet repository management and internal package sharing.
- Proven experience designing enterprise multi-tenant SaaS systems is a strict must-have.
Candidate profile
- Have designed complex SaaS platform architecture from a blank slate.
- Be adaptable and hands-on, making pragmatic decisions that balance speed to market with long-term scalability.
- Be familiar with modern AI coding assistants and codebases that are navigable and extensible by AI-driven teams.
- Communicate architectural trade-offs and business impact clearly to stakeholders.
Location and work arrangement
- Remote role in Canada.
Engagement
Contract engagement for six or more months, with a possible extension.
