Role overview
A SaaS company seeks a Solution Architect to lead technical design of a new ERP application built from scratch.
The application is intended to be a scalable, multi-tenant enterprise system integrated with an existing SaaS product suite.
The role is remote in Canada and is a contract of six or more months, with possible extension.
Architecture and delivery
- Own high-level and low-level technical design for a new enterprise ERP application.
- Design secure integration patterns between the ERP and existing SaaS products.
- Architect use of shared services such as unified login, authentication, identity/access management, and core data routing.
- Define AWS architecture for availability, performance, and strict data isolation across enterprise tenants.
- Partner with the Engineering Manager and AI-enabled engineering team to establish technical standards, code-generation patterns, and architectural guardrails.
Technical requirements
- Deep expertise in .NET (C#) and microservices architecture.
- Strong architectural understanding of Angular.
- Extensive experience designing cloud-native solutions in AWS.
- Experience with NuGet repository management and internal package sharing.
- Proven enterprise multi-tenant SaaS architecture experience is a strict must-have.
- Must have defined architecture for a complex SaaS platform from a blank slate.
Candidate profile
- Must be adaptable, hands-on, and pragmatic, balancing speed to market with long-term scalability.
- Familiarity with modern AI coding assistants and understanding of architecture suited to AI-driven development teams.
- Able to communicate architectural trade-offs in terms of business impact for stakeholders.
