Job Summary

Key Responsibilitiesnetwork Monitoring & Performance

• Monitor network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure.
• Configure and maintain SNMP/WMI polling for network monitoring.
• Onboard and manage network nodes within the SolarWinds platform.
• Analyze network performance, including latency, bandwidth utilization, packet loss, and availability.
• Configure alerts, thresholds, and notifications for proactive monitoring.
• Troubleshoot network performance issues and recommend improvements.

Network Configuration Management

• Perform automated configuration backups and restores.
• Manage configuration changes and enforce compliance policies.
• Detect unauthorized configuration changes and generate compliance reports.
• Execute bulk configuration updates and firmware upgrades across network devices.

Network Traffic Analysis

• Monitor network traffic using NetFlow, sFlow, and J-Flow.
• Analyze bandwidth utilization and identify top network consumers.
• Detect abnormal traffic patterns and troubleshoot network bottlenecks.
• Support capacity planning and optimize network performance.

Ip Address Management (Ipam)

• Manage IP address allocation, subnet planning, and address utilization.
• Maintain DHCP and DNS integration.
• Detect IP conflicts and unauthorized devices.
• Maintain accurate IP address documentation and network inventory.

User Device Tracking

• Track end-user devices and map them to switch ports.
• Monitor device connection history and movement.
• Identify and investigate rogue or unauthorized devices.
• Support IT security audits and compliance initiatives.

Voip Network Monitoring

• Monitor VoIP performance, including latency, jitter, and packet loss.
• Analyze Call Detail Records (CDR) for voice quality.
• Troubleshoot VoIP performance issues.
• Ensure Quality of Service (QoS) policies are properly implemented.

Solarwinds Administration

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain the SolarWinds Orion Platform.
• Manage SolarWinds modules, dashboards, alerts, and custom reports.
• Perform platform patching and system health monitoring.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical incidents.
• Monitor and optimize SolarWinds SQL database performance.
• Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and maintain platform security.
• Support High Availability (HA), scalability, and disaster recovery requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience administering SolarWinds in enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with SolarWinds modules:

• VoIP & Network Quality Manager (VNQM)

• Strong knowledge of SNMP, WMI, NetFlow, sFlow, J-Flow, and TCP/IP networking.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with enterprise routers, switches, firewalls, and network protocols.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative IT environment.
• Pay: AED17,000.00 per month
