Lead design, development, and implementation of Guidewire InsuranceSuite integrations in a Guidewire Cloud environment.
Provide technical leadership, mentor developers, collaborate with business stakeholders, and deliver scalable, secure, high-quality integrations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead Guidewire integration design and implementation across PolicyCenter, and drive enterprise integration architecture and strategy.
- Build integrations using Guidewire APIs, messaging, event-driven architectures, and third-party services.
- Define integration requirements and technical solutions with business analysts, solution architects, and product owners.
- Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring; uphold Guidewire best practices, coding standards, and cloud guidelines.
- Troubleshoot production issues, lead root cause analysis, and support CI/CD, release management, and deployment.
- Participate in architecture reviews, contribute to platform strategy, and coordinate delivery with cross-functional teams and vendors.
Required qualifications
- At least 8 years of software development experience, including at least 5 years working on Guidewire implementations.
- Strong hands-on Guidewire InsuranceSuite integration experience; proficiency in Java, Gosu, and integration design patterns.
- Experience with Guidewire APIs, REST, SOAP web services, event messaging, Integration Gateway, JSON/XML, and OAuth/OpenID Connect.
- Experience integrating enterprise applications, payment providers, document management systems, identity providers, and external partners.
- Experience with cloud-native development, DevOps, security, authentication, and authorization frameworks.
- Experience leading development teams and technical delivery; strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Required: Guidewire Certified Associate – InsuranceSuite Developer, or a current Guidewire Associate Certification relevant to the candidate's track.
Preferred qualifications
- P&C insurance experience; PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter integrations; Kafka or other event streaming; CI/CD and automated deployments; Agile/Scrum; monitoring, observability, or production support.
- Preferred certifications include Guidewire Specialist, Professional, Ace, current-release Guidewire Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP, MuleSoft, Kafka, or API Management.
Work arrangement
- The description identifies the location as Bangalore/Pune – Hybrid.
