Join an agile Trust and Security team in Consumer & Community Banking as a Software Engineer III.
Design and deliver secure, stable, scalable technology products supporting business objectives across technical areas.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot software solutions, including complex technical problems.
- Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms integrated with appropriate systems.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure code meets design constraints.
- Analyze and visualize large, diverse datasets to improve software applications and systems.
- Use identified problems and data patterns to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Contribute to engineering communities and emerging technology events, and support an inclusive team culture.
Required qualifications
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on system design, application development, testing, and operational stability experience.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern programming and database querying languages.
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle, Agile, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- Knowledge of software applications and technical processes in a discipline such as cloud, AI, machine learning, or mobile.
Preferred skills
- Familiarity with AWS ECS, Kafka, Cassandra or other NoSQL databases, cloud technologies, and infrastructure as code is preferred.
