Role overview
Manage pre- and post-trading lifecycle operations across asset classes, focusing on client cash movements and funding managed demand deposit accounts.
Coordinate across business lines, resolve operational issues, and contribute to process improvements and automation.
Responsibilities
- Manage cash movements into and out of client accounts, including accurate fund allocation and reconciliation.
- Coordinate proper funding with other business lines.
- Identify and implement process improvements using automation technologies.
- Support planning and execution of trade lifecycle operations projects.
- Apply knowledge of market products and regulations to daily operations and decisions.
- Organize and prioritize work to meet tight deadlines.
Required qualifications
- Baseline knowledge or equivalent expertise in financial markets and the transaction lifecycle.
- Ability to manage cash movements and coordinate funding with business lines.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies and automation technologies.
- Ability to build productive internal stakeholder relationships; beginning stakeholder-management proficiency.
- Familiarity with project management principles and experience assisting with project planning and execution.
Preferred qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Economics or Industrial Engineering background is advantageous.
- Finance industry operations experience is preferred.
- VBA proficiency is preferred.
- Developing experience with AI-powered analytics, workflow automation, or intelligent process tools is preferred.
