An experienced agile team member designs and delivers secure, stable, scalable technology products.
Responsibilities
- Execute software solution design, development, and technical troubleshooting; write secure, high-quality code with limited guidance.
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot with consideration for upstream/downstream systems and technical implications.
- Use SDLC tools and automation to improve delivery; analyze diverse data to identify issues and support secure, stable application development.
- Use authorized AI coding tools for code generation/refactoring, unit tests, troubleshooting, and documentation; validate outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards.
- Apply development methodologies for stable systems and share reusable patterns and learnings with the team.
Required qualifications
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 2 years of applied experience.
- Hands-on system design, application development, testing, operational stability, Python, and Java experience.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment, using modern programming and database querying languages; experience across the full SDLC.
- Exposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- Emerging knowledge of a technical discipline such as cloud, AI, machine learning, or mobile.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools and ability to validate and refine generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, and security and resiliency expectations; ability to guide peers on safe usage.
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies is preferred.
- Exposure to cloud technologies is preferred.
