Join an agile team as a Software Engineer II in JPMorgan Chase's Global Payments healthcare payments area.
Design and deliver secure, stable, scalable technology products supporting business objectives.
Job responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and execute software solutions.
- Write secure, high-quality code and consider upstream and downstream system impacts.
- Use authorized AI coding tools for development tasks and validate outputs through review, testing, and secure coding practices.
- Apply lifecycle tools and automation to improve delivery.
- Analyze data to identify issues and contribute to secure, stable application development.
- Learn and apply system processes and contribute to an inclusive team culture.
Required qualifications
- Formal software engineering training or certification and 2+ years of applied experience.
- Solid C# and .NET experience and relational database experience.
- Hands-on system design, development, testing, and operational stability experience.
- Corporate-environment experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code.
- Hands-on authorized AI-assisted development experience and ability to validate generated output.
- Responsible AI understanding, including data sensitivity and secure handling.
- Coding ability, full Software Development Life Cycle experience, and exposure to agile practices including CI/CD, resiliency, and security.
- Emerging technical knowledge in an area such as cloud, AI, machine learning, or mobile.
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies is preferred.
- Exposure to AWS cloud technologies is preferred.
