About the role
Build, evaluate, and improve AI-generated code to help train AI systems to understand and generate software.

What you’ll do
- Write, debug, and optimize code across languages, frameworks, and problem domains.
- Review AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency, readability, and best practices.
- Identify bugs, logic errors, security issues, and performance bottlenecks in AI outputs.
- Provide structured feedback explaining why code works or does not work.
- Design challenging coding prompts and edge cases to test AI capabilities.
- Compare and rank AI-generated solutions based on engineering quality.
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
Who you are
- Proficient in one or more programming languages, including Python, JavaScript, Java, C++, Go, TypeScript, or similar.
- Have a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Read, write, and reason about code clearly and precisely; use a systematic approach to problem-solving and debugging.
- Communicate technical decisions clearly in writing and work reliably without supervision.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or have equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have
- Experience across multiple languages or technology stacks, including full-stack, backend, systems, or data engineering.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, LLMs, or prompt engineering.
- Background in code review, technical writing, or mentoring junior developers.
- Experience with cloud platforms, DevOps, or distributed systems.
- Competitive programming, open-source contributions, side projects, or an advanced degree in a related discipline.
