Software Engineer (AI Training)

About the role

What you'll do

• Write, debug, and optimize code across languages, frameworks, and problem domains.
• Evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency, readability, and best practices; identify bugs, security issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Provide detailed feedback, design challenging prompts and edge cases, and compare and rank AI-generated solutions.
• Work independently and asynchronously on a flexible schedule.

Who you are

• Proficient in one or more programming languages, including Python, JavaScript, Java, C++, Go, TypeScript, or similar.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles; able to reason about code clearly and precisely.
• Strong problem-solving and systematic debugging skills; clear written communication for explaining technical decisions.
• Self-motivated and reliable working independently without supervision.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience across multiple languages or stacks, such as full-stack, backend, systems, or data engineering.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, LLMs, or prompt engineering; background in code review, technical writing, or mentoring.
• Experience with cloud platforms, DevOps, or distributed systems; competitive programming, open-source work, or relevant side projects.
• An advanced degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

Work arrangement

• Fully remote and flexible; work from anywhere and set your own hours.

Contract details

• Type: hourly contract. Commitment: 10–40 hours per week.
