  • Lead design reviews and trade-offs; own data quality, lineage, observability, and reliability.
  • Partner with Applied and Research Scientists to prepare training data, deliver features, and operationalize model-scoring workflows.
  • Deliver production software and engineering practices; troubleshoot issues, participate in on-call, and automate operations.
  • Mentor SDE I and early-career engineers and influence the data platform roadmap.

Basic qualifications

  • Production data quality, validation, or observability experience; AI coding assistant experience.
  • Software engineering fundamentals including testing, CI/CD, code review, and production operations.

Preferred qualifications

  • Production ML deployment; large-scale data architecture such as data lakes, warehouses, or lakehouse patterns; or MLOps tools.
  • Cross-team ML-integrated systems, agentic development, prompt engineering, LLM APIs, or ML evaluation frameworks.
  • Data lineage, cataloging, observability, streaming, orchestration, infrastructure-as-code, or business reporting experience.
  • Supply-chain, logistics, fulfillment, or operational environment background.

About the team

The team builds data infrastructure and intelligent systems for inbound operations across a global fulfillment network.

It works at the intersection of large-scale data engineering and applied machine learning to improve automation and optimization.
