This role joins a new organization building greenfield, large-scale distributed applications for infrastructure supply chain automation.

AWS Infrastructure Services designs, plans, delivers, and operates global cloud infrastructure, including data centers, servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling.

Key responsibilities
- Solve complex architecture and business problems to create extensible solutions.
- Write high-quality, modular, functional, and testable code.
- Mentor junior engineers on design, coding, and troubleshooting.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively across a global environment.
Basic qualifications
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship design or architecture experience with new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Solid understanding of fundamental algorithms and system design.
Preferred qualifications
- At least 3 years of full software development life-cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
