Responsibilities
- Execute and supervise daily mechanical site work, including HVAC, chilled water piping, ducting, plumbing, drainage, and fire-fighting systems.
- Coordinate with civil, electrical, and architectural teams to prevent clashes and maintain progress.
- Review IFC, shop, and coordination drawings before work starts.
- Ensure compliance with authority regulations and project standards; supervise teams following approved method statements and quality procedures.
- Monitor materials and coordinate deliveries with procurement.
- Conduct inspections with QA/QC and consultants; submit progress reports, site updates, and inspection requests.
- Report design discrepancies, site constraints, and potential delays to the Mechanical Project Engineer.
- Support testing and commissioning, maintain as-built records, and assist with handover documents, O&M manuals, and authority submissions.
- Enforce HSE requirements and support readiness for inspections.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 6 years of mechanical execution experience, including 5 years in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC design and installation, chilled water pipe networks, ducting, plumbing and drainage, water supply, and fire-fighting installations.
Pay
- AED 5,000–9,000 per month.
