Seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Site Engineer – Joinery for a construction team in Dubai.
The role oversees joinery work and helps ensure projects meet specifications, quality standards, and deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily on-site joinery activities.
- Review technical, AutoCAD, and joinery shop drawings.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
- Monitor work quality and compliance with project specifications and health and safety standards.
- Track project progress, material consumption, and manpower allocation.
- Prepare daily site progress reports and update project management.
- Attend site meetings and contribute to planning and coordination discussions.
- Resolve site and technical issues and support timely work completion.
- Inspect sites to verify work quality and installation accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Site Engineer; joinery and woodworking experience is preferred.
- Experience in commercial and residential joinery projects.
- Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD, technical, and joinery shop drawings.
- Leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of site safety requirements and quality control procedures.
- Valid UAE driving license required; able and willing to travel to project sites as needed.
Compensation
- Pay starts at AED 5,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
