Site Engineer – Bridge Inspection & Assessment

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Inspect bridges and concrete structures and assess their physical and structural condition.
• Document defects, cracks, deterioration, and damage with photographs, measurements, and field observations.
• Supervise field technicians, assign tasks, and monitor work progress.
• Coordinate field testing and check the accuracy and reliability of results.
• Prepare inspection reports, progress reports, and site documentation for the Project Manager.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and stakeholders to facilitate site operations.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and health and safety rules.
• Report critical structural defects and safety hazards promptly; maintain accurate site records.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of bridge inspection, structural assessment, and concrete structures.
• Familiarity with concrete infrastructure defects and deterioration.
• Ability to prepare accurate technical and engineering reports.
• Strong site supervision, team coordination, and organizational skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving; able to work independently and with multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel and work at project sites across Saudi Arabia.
• Commitment to quality standards and occupational health and safety procedures.
