Experienced Service Engineer / Workshop Manager role overseeing workshop operations for oilfield and industrial equipment.

Responsibilities
- Manage daily workshop operations, maintenance schedules, manpower, and resource allocation.
- Supervise technicians, mechanics, welders, fitters, and other workshop staff.
- Oversee servicing, troubleshooting, repairs, and testing of pumps, compressors, diesel engines, generators, and hydraulic systems.
- Plan preventive and corrective maintenance and ensure timely completion of jobs.
- Prepare service reports, cost estimates, maintenance plans, and technical recommendations.
- Coordinate procurement of spare parts, tools, and consumables; maintain equipment records, inventory, and service histories.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, quality standards, and equipment certification requirements.
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, OEMs, and internal teams; improve productivity, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- 7–10 years of relevant experience in workshop management, equipment servicing, or maintenance.
- Strong experience in oilfield equipment or the oil and gas service industry is preferred.
- Hands-on knowledge of mechanical equipment, hydraulic systems, pumps, compressors, and diesel engines.
- Proven ability to independently manage workshop teams and maintenance operations.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, equipment manuals, and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, maintenance documentation, and MS Office.
- Strong leadership, communication, troubleshooting, and reporting skills.
- UAE experience and a valid UAE driving licence are advantageous.
