Experienced foreperson to supervise and carry out carpentry and joinery work for interior fit-out projects.
The description also refers to the role as Senior Carpenter and Foreman.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and execute carpentry and joinery work at site and workshop.
- Guide carpenters and helpers; train junior carpenters when required.
- Read and execute shop and technical drawings; measure, cut, assemble, and install joinery items.
- Work on doors, wardrobes, cabinets, kitchens, wall panels, custom furniture, and other joinery items.
- Ensure finishing quality and accuracy; coordinate with project and site teams.
- Monitor material use, minimize waste, meet project timelines, and maintain safety and housekeeping.
- Identify and resolve site or workshop carpentry issues.
Requirements
- 4–5 years of relevant carpentry or joinery experience and strong interior fit-out and joinery experience.
- Proven ability to handle and supervise a team.
- Good knowledge of woodworking tools, machinery, materials, and installation techniques; able to understand drawings and measurements.
- Attention to detail and finishing quality; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- UAE or Dubai experience is advantageous.
Compensation
- Salary: AED 6,000 per month.
