Guest service and service operations
- Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages and set tables according to event type and service standards.
- Answer menu questions and coordinate with the kitchen about questions, wait times, remakes, and product availability.
- Communicate guest dietary requirements, allergies, restrictions, and special requests to the kitchen.
- Record orders and transactions in MICROS, check guest satisfaction, present accurate bills, and process payments.
- Maintain clean work areas, dishes, and glassware; complete closing duties such as restocking and turning off lights.
Standards and physical duties
- Follow company and safety procedures, report incidents and unsafe conditions, and complete safety training and certifications.
- Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, assist guests with disabilities, and express appreciation.
- Maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information and company property, communicate clearly, support colleagues, and meet quality standards.
- The role involves extended standing, sitting, or walking; handling items up to 25 pounds independently and heavier items with assistance; and moving over uneven, sloped, or slippery surfaces and stairs.
- Perform other reasonable duties as directed by supervisors.
Desired qualifications
- High school graduation or G.E.D. equivalent is listed as a desired qualification.
- At least one year of related work experience is listed as a desired qualification.
- No supervisory experience or license/certification is listed as required.
