Senior Well Data Solutions Architect supporting enterprise well data, drilling data, and digital oilfield initiatives in an upstream oil and gas environment.
Design and support data management, integration, and governance solutions for drilling, well engineering, operations, and business stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement well data architecture and integration solutions.
- Support the management, quality, governance, and accessibility of well and drilling data.
- Lead data integration across engineering, operational, and enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Support digital transformation and data modernization projects.
- Develop and maintain data workflows, standards, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot data quality and system integration issues.
- Provide technical leadership on well data management strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in oil and gas data management, digital solutions, or enterprise data architecture.
- Strong understanding of well and drilling data workflows.
- Experience designing and supporting data integration solutions and enterprise data environments.
- Knowledge of industry data exchange standards and real-time operational data environments.
- Experience with data quality management, governance, and master data initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and consulting skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Preferred experience
- Well lifecycle data management and drilling or well engineering systems.
- Data integration, interoperability, and API-based solutions.
- Real-time operational data environments, cloud, analytics, and digital transformation projects.
- Agile project delivery and solution architecture experience.
