Takes responsibility for the outlet when the Restaurant Manager or Supervisor is absent.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assist with daily outlet operations and ensure compliance with service standards, company procedures, and food and beverage guidelines.
- Welcome guests, provide personalized service, handle requests and complaints, and coordinate timely resolution.
- Inform guests about restaurant activities and promotions; support revenue through suggestive selling, upselling, and menu promotion.
- Assist with staff orientation, training, and coaching; monitor service quality, staff performance, attendance, grooming, and work allocation as assigned.
- Support restaurant promotions, special events, festive programs, briefings, meetings, training sessions, and operational discussions.
- Control wastage, breakage, spoilage, and unnecessary consumption; care for and correctly store operating equipment and restaurant assets.
- Prepare the outlet before service and maintain cleanliness and presentation standards throughout operations.
- Coordinate with Kitchen, Stewarding, Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, and other relevant departments.
- Ensure proper shift handover of operational information, guest feedback, pending issues, and follow-up items.
Role expectations
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, grooming, cleanliness, and professional conduct.
- Support staff development and monitor consistent service delivery.
- Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Restaurant Manager or Food & Beverage Management.
Work arrangement
- Full-time role; work location is in person.
