Opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy's digital transformation work, shaping user-centric solutions across business intelligence, enterprise applications, and low-code platforms.

Collaborate with Power BI and Power Apps developers, business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver accessible digital products that support adoption and business value.

Establish design standards and consistent experiences aligned with enterprise branding, accessibility, and usability requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Design responsive interfaces for Power BI dashboards, Power Apps, and other enterprise solutions.
  • Create user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, mockups, and interactive concepts.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions.
  • Improve dashboard usability, storytelling, navigation, and information architecture with Power BI teams.
  • Design executive dashboards that communicate KPIs and business insights.
  • Create Power Apps experiences optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
  • Develop and maintain design systems, component libraries, templates, and reusable patterns.
  • Work with developers on implementation; facilitate stakeholder workshops and present recommendations.
  • Champion accessibility, usability, consistency, and user-centered design.

Required background

  • Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of UI/UX design and development experience for enterprise applications, analytics platforms, or digital products.
  • Strong Figma and Adobe XD skills for wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Experience with Power BI dashboards, reporting, and data visualization platforms; experience supporting Power Apps Canvas and Model-Driven Apps.
  • Knowledge of user-centered design, usability testing, accessibility standards, responsive design, and reusable UI components.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and presentation skills.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience building and managing enterprise design systems.
  • Knowledge of Power Platform capabilities, limitations, and best practices.
  • Experience in Agile and product-driven delivery environments.
  • Understanding of data visualization best practices and dashboard storytelling.
