Role overview

Accountabilities

• Propose budgets for O&M engineering activities and project O&M operating costs; apportion O&M requirements and establish asset-management strategy.
• Deliver O&M outputs on schedule and within budget; prepare guidelines for manuals, training, spare parts, special tools, and pricing documents.
• Prepare operational analyses, O&M plans, manuals, procedures, mobilization plans, obsolescence plans, defect notifications, and warranty and condition-based-maintenance topics.
• Prepare configuration-management plans and design-change requests; participate in design reviews.
• Coordinate handover from the design-and-build team to the operator, including requirement transfer and design review during the project lifecycle.
• Prepare technical specifications for spare parts and service contracts; analyze operations and maintenance performance data.
• Conduct failure-report analysis and identify corrective actions; define, execute, and update mobilization plans.
• Review subcontractor manuals and participate in project, bidding, and delivery phases.

Work arrangement

• Full-time schedule; work arrangement is onsite.

Requirements

• Ability to assure project delivery and manage O&M requirements across the overall project lifecycle.
• Ability to coordinate with project departments and manage interfaces between design and build teams and O&M teams.
• Ability to prepare and deliver system- and subsystem-level documentation and O&M deliverables.
• Ability to plan and coordinate training and operator handover.
• Ability to manage project schedules and budgets for O&M deliverables and activities.
• Ability to review subcontractor manuals and participate in design reviews and change requests.
• Ability to participate in project, bidding, and delivery phases.
