The Senior Transport/Roads Design Engineer role is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE and focuses on design and delivery of roads, highways, junctions, and civil infrastructure projects.
The engineer works with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver engineering solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Lead road and transportation infrastructure design and delivery.
- Prepare and review road alignments, junction layouts, and engineering drawings; develop designs in Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders and ensure designs meet project requirements and industry standards.
- Attend client meetings, support technical reviews, and mentor junior engineers and designers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 10–16 years of transport and roads design experience, including at least five years on UAE projects.
- Strong road geometry, highway, junction, and infrastructure design experience; proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
- Strong client-facing and communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- DMT registration is preferred.
