Role purpose
Support structural analysis, design calculations, and documentation for global projects under the guidance of engineers and senior engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Build or update analysis models and perform supervised design checks for reinforced concrete and steel elements.
- Prepare calculation sheets, basic design notes, and inputs for design reports.
- Coordinate with BIM/CAD to produce and issue drawings, redline markups, and maintain drawing registers.
- Complete self-checks and QA/QC checklists, control file naming and versions, and resolve comments.
- Follow applicable design codes and project specifications for each project region.
- Join coordination calls, document actions, and close out items.
- Continue learning codes, software workflows, and internal standards.
Qualifications and experience
- BE/BTech in Civil Engineering; ME in Structural Engineering is preferred.
- Relevant experience is stated as 1–3 years in the experience-level section and 1–4 years in the qualifications section.
- Relevant sectors include buildings, infrastructure, and industrial projects.
Tools and standards
- Typical tools include ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, or RAM as applicable, plus Excel calculation templates and AutoCAD.
- Revit or Navisworks exposure is a plus.
- Applicable codes may include IS codes, Eurocodes, ACI, AS, and NZ codes, depending on project region.
