Role overview
Senior Structural Draftsman role for villa and building projects in main contracting/construction.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare detailed structural and shop drawings for villa and building projects.
- Develop and modify RCC drawings for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, walls, stairs, and structural details.
- Produce coordinated BIM models using Revit Structure and coordinate models with architectural and MEP disciplines.
- Review IFC and consultant drawings and incorporate revisions as required.
- Prepare as-built drawings and ensure drawings comply with project specifications.
- Coordinate with Structural Engineers, Site Engineers, and BIM teams to resolve technical and drawing-related issues.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of experience as a Structural Draftsman.
- Strong experience in villa and building projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit Structure and BIM.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and structural detailing.
- Experience with RCC structures and structural shop drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
- UAE main contractor experience is highly preferred.
- Strong BIM/Revit and construction-site coordination experience is preferred.
