The HSE Supervisor oversees safety and environmental procedures for railway construction project work.
The work location is in person.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and implement HSE procedures at the project site.
- Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards.
- Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, project requirements, and company policies.
- Monitor Permit to Work, Job Safety Analysis, and Method Statement implementation.
- Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSE awareness sessions.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure proper PPE use and safe working practices; monitor subcontractor compliance with HSE plans.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports and maintain safety documentation.
- Coordinate with project management and site teams to promote workplace safety.
Requirements
- At least 5–7 years of HSE experience in railway construction projects.
- Previous HSE Supervisor experience on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
- NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE qualification required.
- Knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety procedures.
- Relevant railway project experience is required for railway project assignments.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
