Senior Structural Bridge Engineer SME

Qualifications:

• Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in bridge and structural engineering, with significant experience on large-scale infrastructure or transportation projects.
• Experience with federally funded projects and regulatory compliance is preferred.
• Technical Skills
• Advanced knowledge of bridge design, analysis, and construction methods.
• Proficiency with structural engineering software and design tools.
• Experience with quality assurance, testing, and inspection processes for bridge structures.
• Project Management & Communicati on
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and stakeholder engagement.
• Compliance & Quality
• Understanding of relevant codes, standards, and permitting processes for bridge and structural works.
• Experience in change management, risk management, and dispute resolution.
