Document Controller

Role overview

What you'll do

• Coordinate document flow between project operations, engineering, construction, and support teams.
• Register, track, and distribute incoming and outgoing documents; maintain databases, logs, and transmittals.
• Enter data and generate status reports using MS Office and project-specific systems.
• Scan and archive documents for electronic storage and maintain structured filing and retrieval.
• Maintain distribution schedules to meet project timelines and client requirements.
• Provide general administrative support, including filing, typing, and telephone support, as required.

Required skills

• Diploma or equivalent, with at least 7 years in document controls, or an equivalent combination of formal education and work experience.
• Hands-on experience with Unifier/Oracle is mandatory.
• English-speaking with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer and keyboard skills, including MS Windows and common office applications.
• UAE experience.

Desired skills

• Arabic speaker.
• Engineering background or experience.
• Experience on large, site-based projects with high-volume document workflows.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, including effective interaction with project teams.
• Ability to interpret construction specifications and understand relevant construction processes.
