Assistant Project Manager

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Support the Project Director with internal coordination across engineering and support teams and with external stakeholders.
• Arrange, attend, and minute project meetings; track actions to closure and monitor progress.
• Prepare subcontractor requisitions and coordinate subcontractors during task execution.
• Prepare progress updates, reports, and presentations for management reporting.
• Maintain trackers, documentation, and records to support project delivery.
• Perform other responsibilities appropriate to the position.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience; infrastructure project exposure is preferred.
• Strong coordination, communication, and documentation skills.
• Working knowledge of CAD and proficiency in MS Office and common project management tools.

Desired skills

• Experience supporting a PMO or program environment and managing multiple workstreams in parallel.
• Familiarity with project controls concepts such as schedule tracking, risk and issue logs, and change tracking.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
