Responsibilities

• Maintain the program budget and monitor expenditure, purchase commitments, and accruals against approved budget lines and workstreams.
• Update cost forecasts, cost-to-complete estimates, and projected final costs based on delivery and procurement plans.
• Analyze budget, actual, commitment, and forecast variances; identify causes and corrective actions.
• Prepare program cost reports for the Program Manager, Finance team, and governance meetings.
• Coordinate with Procurement on purchase orders, supplier commitments, and approved budget limits.
• Assess financial impacts of program, contractual, and scope changes and reflect approved changes in forecasts and budgets.
• Model cost implications of supplier pricing, schedule changes, and program decisions.
• Reconcile and maintain supported cost information according to Finance policies and approval requirements.
• Identify and escalate cost overruns, funding gaps, and financial discrepancies.

Basic qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in project cost control, program finance, financial analysis, or management accounting.
• Experience working with Program Management, Procurement, and Contract Management teams.
• Experience in project-based, service-contract, engineering, maritime, MRO, or defence environments is preferred.
• ACCA, CIMA, CMA, or CPA professional or part-professional qualifications are advantageous.
• English proficiency is required for all roles unless otherwise stated in the job posting.
