Role overview

What you'll do

• Build developer-platform templates, self-service tools, local development environments, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage cloud foundations and Kubernetes-based infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, operators, and Crossplane.
• Run Kubernetes clusters, including lifecycle management, upgrades, autoscaling, node management, and multi-cluster patterns.
• Design service mesh, ingress, mTLS, routing, rate limiting, canary, circuit-breaking, and RPC capabilities.
• Own GitOps releases, progressive delivery, rollback safety, and environment promotion with Argo CD.
• Build and operate observability instrumentation, metrics, dashboards, tracing, logs, and alerting.
• Implement zero-trust access, VPN, BeyondCorp, short-lived credentials, and on-premises connectivity.
• Partner with Security on secrets management, policy as code, and secure-by-default HIPAA and SOC 2 patterns.

What you have

• At least 6 years of software engineering experience in infrastructure, platform, or site reliability engineering.
• Experience building internal developer platforms with a product mindset.
• Experience with public cloud and managed services, on-premises or hybrid environments, and data center or cloud migrations.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies and Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform or Pulumi.
• Experience with controller-based infrastructure management, such as Crossplane or Kubernetes operators.
• Experience with service mesh, software-defined networking, GitOps, and progressive delivery.
• Experience with observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare or finance, with HIPAA and SOC 2 obligations.

Compensation
