The AI Integration Team supports Revenue Cycle Management and Ambient products by connecting the platform with electronic medical record systems.
The team retrieves encounter and appointment data and, when needed, writes data back to systems, supporting healthcare interoperability through HL7.
The role is a senior software engineering position with end-to-end ownership and direct impact on care delivery.
What you'll do
- Design and implement reliable, high-performance integrations with healthcare systems, EHRs, and insurance providers.
- Use LLM technology to automate electronic health record reverse-engineering.
- Coordinate integration requirements and technical plans with product, engineering, and healthcare teams.
- Improve integration architecture, tools, and technologies; own delivery through production monitoring.
- Troubleshoot performance and production reliability issues and follow healthcare compliance and security standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote testing, error handling, version control, and continuous integration practices.
- Partner with DevOps and QA on monitoring and alerting, follow industry trends, and participate in agile ceremonies.
What you have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in backend languages such as Python, Go, or C++, and frontend languages including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with Git, GCP or AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, relational and non-relational databases, and monitoring or alerting tools.
- Track record designing end-to-end solutions and making architectural decisions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation
- The stated compensation range is $180,000–$230,000; no pay cadence is specified.
