Senior Software Engineer, AI Integrations

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, reliable integrations with EHRs, insurance providers, and other healthcare systems; use LLMs to automate EHR reverse-engineering.
• Gather requirements, define technical approaches, shape platform architecture, and own integrations from design through deployment and monitoring.
• Troubleshoot production issues, improve performance and reliability, and meet healthcare security and compliance expectations.
• Mentor junior engineers, improve integration development practices, collaborate on monitoring and alerting, and participate in agile planning and retrospectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in a backend language such as Python, Go, or C++, and frontend languages JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with Git, GCP or AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, relational and non-relational databases, and monitoring/alerting tools.
• Demonstrated end-to-end solution design and architectural decision-making, plus strong communication and collaboration skills.
