Design and deliver enterprise server, storage, virtualization, backup, and disaster recovery infrastructure solutions for customers in the UAE.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end server, storage, virtualization, backup, and disaster recovery solutions, including HLD/LLD and architecture documents.
- Lead presales discovery, requirements gathering, sizing, bills of materials, technical proposals, and RFP/RFI responses.
- Present and defend solutions in customer meetings, demonstrations, and executive briefings.
- Architect hybrid and multi-cloud solutions and lead workload migrations.
- Define RPO/RTO requirements and develop disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
- Provide technical leadership across the project lifecycle and handle escalations for complex issues.
- Run proofs of concept and proofs of value with technology vendors and partners.
Technical expertise
- Compute platforms include Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant, Cisco UCS, Lenovo ThinkSystem, HCI, and NVIDIA GPU infrastructure.
- Storage expertise includes SAN/NAS, object storage, SDS, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NVMe-oF, and platforms from Dell EMC, NetApp, Pure Storage, HPE, and IBM.
- Virtualization platforms include VMware vSphere/VCF/vSAN, Nutanix AHV, Hyper-V, and Azure Stack HCI.
- Cloud platforms include Microsoft Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Backup and disaster recovery tools include Veeam, Rubrik, Commvault, Cohesity, and Veritas NetBackup.
- Operating systems include Windows Server, RHEL, Ubuntu, and SUSE.
- Automation and monitoring tools include Ansible, PowerShell, Python, Terraform, SolarWinds, ManageEngine, PRTG, and Zabbix.
Requirements
- 5–6 years of UAE experience in server and storage architecture.
- Valid UAE driving licence.
- Strong customer-facing and presentation skills.
- Arabic speakers are preferred.
