Senior Pre-sales Network & Security Engineer

About the role

Responsibilities

• Design LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, WLAN, and data center architectures, including HLD/LLD and migration plans.
• Architect Zero Trust, micro-segmentation, NAC, secure remote access, VPN, and cloud or hybrid connectivity solutions.
• Lead customer workshops, gather requirements, prepare BOMs and sizing, develop technical proposals, and respond to RFPs/RFIs.
• Run proofs of concept and proofs of value and act as a technical advisor in customer meetings.
• Perform security architecture reviews and risk assessments aligned with ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, PCI-DSS, and UAE NESA/IAS.
• Guide implementation, SOC, and NOC teams and support critical incident escalations.

Technical expertise

• Routing and switching: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, MPLS, QoS, and VXLAN EVPN.
• SD-WAN: Cisco, Fortinet, Versa, VMware VeloCloud, and Aruba EdgeConnect.
• Wireless: Cisco, Aruba, Extreme Networks, and Mist AI; data center: Cisco Nexus, Arista, Juniper, and Spine-Leaf architectures.
• Firewalls: Palo Alto, Fortinet FortiGate, Check Point, Cisco Secure Firewall, and Juniper SRX.
• SASE/SSE: Netskope, Zscaler, Prisma Access, Cisco Secure Access, and FortiSASE; NAC: Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass, and Forescout.
• Security technologies include SWG, CASB, DLP, ZTNA, NDR, WAF, and DDoS protection.
• Cloud security includes Microsoft Defender, Azure Firewall, and AWS Security Services.
• Monitoring tools include SolarWinds, ManageEngine, ThousandEyes, Splunk, QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel, Darktrace, and ExtraHop.
• Automation tools include Ansible, Terraform, Python, PowerShell, and REST APIs.

Requirements

• Experience designing enterprise LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, WLAN, and data center network architectures, including HLD/LLD and migration plans.
• Expertise architecting Zero Trust security across perimeter, internal, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Knowledge of micro-segmentation, NAC, secure remote access, and VPN solutions.
• Experience designing secure network connectivity for Azure, AWS, GCP, and hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
• Ability to lead customer workshops, gather requirements, prepare BOMs and sizing, develop technical proposals, and respond to RFPs/RFIs.
• Experience running proofs of concept or proofs of value and advising customers in technical meetings.
• Ability to conduct security architecture reviews and risk assessments against ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, PCI-DSS, and UAE NESA/IAS.
• Technical expertise across the listed routing, switching, SD-WAN, wireless, data center, firewall, SASE/SSE, NAC, security, cloud, and monitoring technologies.
• Experience guiding implementation, SOC, and NOC teams and supporting critical incident escalations.
• Knowledge of automation using Ansible, Terraform, Python, PowerShell, or REST APIs.
