The ELV & Wi-Fi Pre-Sales Engineer designs systems, sizes equipment, and prepares technical proposals for customer projects in Dubai.
Design and Proposals
- Design CCTV, access control, intercom, intrusion detection, Wi-Fi, and other ELV systems to project requirements.
- Prepare system sizing, BOQs/BOMs, proposals, layouts, technical drawings, schematics, compliance documents, and quotations.
Planning and Customer Support
- Perform CCTV and Wi-Fi heat mapping, coverage and capacity planning, access-point placement, and storage and bandwidth calculations.
- Conduct site surveys, understand client requirements, and present technical solutions.
- Support on-site installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting when required.
Qualifications and Experience
- 5–6 years of UAE experience in ELV systems and a valid UAE driving license.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Networking, or a related field.
- Knowledge of UAE/Dubai ELV standards, SIRA requirements, and authority regulations.
Communication and Preferred Certifications
- Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable with site work, travel between project locations, working at heights, and handling equipment.
- SIRA knowledge/certification, CWNA/CCNA Wireless, and Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, Cisco, Aruba, or equivalent are preferred.
Work Location
- Work is in person and includes travel between project locations.
