Senior Server & Storage SME designing and delivering enterprise infrastructure solutions for customers in the UAE.
Responsibilities
- Design server, storage, virtualization, backup, and DR solutions, including HLD/LLD and architecture documents.
- Lead presales discovery, requirements gathering, sizing, BOMs, technical proposals, and RFP/RFI responses.
- Present and defend solutions in customer meetings, demos, and executive briefings.
- Architect hybrid and multi-cloud solutions and lead workload migrations.
- Define RPO/RTO requirements and build disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
- Provide technical leadership across the project lifecycle and escalate complex issues.
- Run PoCs/PoVs and work with technology vendors and partners.
Requirements
- 5–6 years of UAE experience in server and storage architecture.
- Valid UAE driving license.
- Strong customer-facing and presentation skills.
- Arabic speakers preferred.
Technical expertise
- Compute: Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant, Cisco UCS, Lenovo ThinkSystem, HCI, and NVIDIA GPU infrastructure.
- Storage: SAN/NAS, Object Storage, SDS, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NVMe-oF; Dell EMC, NetApp, Pure Storage, HPE, and IBM systems.
- Virtualization: VMware vSphere/VCF/vSAN, Nutanix AHV, Hyper-V, and Azure Stack HCI.
- Cloud: Microsoft Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Backup and DR: Veeam, Rubrik, Commvault, Cohesity, and Veritas NetBackup.
- Operating systems: Windows Server, RHEL, Ubuntu, and SUSE.
- Automation and monitoring: Ansible, PowerShell, Python, Terraform, SolarWinds, ManageEngine, PRTG, and Zabbix.
