Senior Scheduling Control Engineer

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules using project management software.
- Monitor project progress and identify concerns or potential delays.
- Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to develop mitigation plans for identified risks.
- Provide regular project status updates to project teams and management.
- Review and analyze project data to identify trends and improve project performance.
- Collaborate with construction and engineering teams to align schedules with project goals.
- Identify process improvements and implement best practices.
- Manage schedule change requests and ensure changes are documented and communicated.
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on scheduling and control matters.
- Support project managers with project budgets and resource plans.
- Comply with relevant quality, environmental, safety, and occupational health policies, manuals, and procedures.
- Perform other duties assigned by the line manager or supervisor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting or Engineering from an accredited university.
- At least 15 years of experience in a related field on national or international major initiatives and developments.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in project scheduling control and in managing and prioritizing project schedules.
- Ability to present schedule plans and requirements to senior management and government authorities.
- Ability to negotiate with multiple stakeholders to secure project schedules.
- Fluent communication in Arabic and English.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
