Senior Sales Manager - The Jeddah EDITION

Role summary

Sales and revenue

• Target group and catering accounts and segments, qualify and solicit new business, and develop sales plans.
• Manage opportunities not handled by an Event Booking Center, partnering with group and catering counterparts as appropriate.
• Design and sell catered events, upsell packages and food-and-beverage offerings, and negotiate contracts.
• Assess competitors, market conditions, supply, and demand to close opportunities suited to property needs.

Customer service and relationships

• Build customer relationships through sales calls, entertainment, familiarization trips, trade shows, and community engagement.
• Deliver service excellence and customer service standards to support satisfaction, loyalty, and account growth.
• Coordinate with off-property sales channels and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Booked business operations

• Conduct site inspections and support operational delivery of booked business.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, and customer correspondence; use sales and administrative support resources.

Education and experience

• Either a high school diploma or GED and two years of experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or a related professional area; or a two-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major with no work experience required.
