Role overview

Refreshment center operations

• Assist with opening and closing, supply setup, equipment and area cleaning, and securing doors.
• Inventory minibar products, in-room accessories, and promotional materials; replace items when needed.
• Record sales using the computer system and restock bars as instructed.
• Monitor availability, expiration dates, and stock levels to prevent stock-outs.
• Prepare daily room inventory lists and restocking carts and take carts to floors with rooms ready for inventory.
• Place emergency product orders with suppliers.
• Respond to guest requests and assign them to the appropriate attendant.
• Communicate refreshment center operating issues to hotel management.

Team and service duties

• Provide direction to attendants and serve as a role model or mentor by working alongside employees.
• Use computer programs to assign guest rooms to attendants and follow up on whether attendant notes reach management.
• Help management communicate goals, performance expectations, timetables, and deadlines to employees.
• Support teamwork, guest service, quality standards, and positive working relationships.
• Follow company and safety and security policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions and complete safety training.

Preferred qualifications and physical duties

• At least 2 years of related work experience.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is listed as preferred.
• No supervisory experience is specified; no license or certification is listed.
• The role involves extended periods standing, sitting, or walking; moving through stairs, service ramps, and confined spaces; and lifting or moving up to 25 pounds without assistance.
