Role Overview

As a

Senior Sales Engineer , Unitary ( DX & VRF Systems)

, you will drive SKM’s Sales business to the designated markets by managing the full sales lifecycle of DX and VRF solutions.

Working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders, you will convert opportunities into profitable, well-executed Sales.

This role blends techno-commercial skills to deliver sustainable growth, customer satisfaction, and market leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell SKM’s DX and VRF solutions across designated market, with a focus on Solution selling.
  • Achieve assigned monthly sales bookings, invoicing and payment realization in line with business objectives of the region.
  • Generate new business by developing strong relationships with developers, corporate clients, contractors, and sub-contractors.
  • Review Sales enquiries and prepare competitive technical and commercial proposals in coordination with the Sales Application team.
  • Manage technical submittals and actively follow up on approvals with consultants, clients, and relevant authorities.
  • Lead commercial and contractual negotiations, including pricing strategies and terms & conditions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements to strengthen SKM’s market position.
  • Coordinate closely with Service teams to ensure effective after-sales support and long-term customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to SKM Factories and technical demonstrations in labs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Application, Factory, Logistics, Finance) to ensure smooth Sales execution.
  • Oversee order processing, delivery schedules, and payment collection in line with agreed terms.
  • Capture Voice of the customer and market feedback into product development, production, and marketing teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/ HVAC/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Technical & application knowledge for the HVAC products

Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in in relevant Air Conditioning field.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build relations with stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of success in closing projects and working as team.
  • Strong experience in handling commercial negotiations and contractual terms.
  • Knowledge of Competitors product range and the local Unitary market is a strong advantage
