The Senior Sales Engineer will develop utility business and support customer purchasing decisions, negotiations, and commercial terms.
The role focuses on Hitachi Energy's products and systems for utility and EPC project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with utilities, utility EPCs, consultants, and key decision-makers.
- Promote the product and system portfolio, identify customer needs, and develop value-based solutions.
- Develop sales plans, monitor the pipeline, review opportunities, and take corrective actions to achieve targets.
- Ensure offers address technical, financial, and commercial requirements, including pricing, payment, delivery, contracts, and risk.
- Present product features, economic justification, differentiation, and value to customers.
- Meet annual sales budgets through account management, market development, and opportunity conversion.
- Coordinate with Market Managers and cross-functional teams on marketing and market penetration.
- Support proposals, liaise with factories, log orders, conduct risk reviews, maintain SFDC, and engage relevant internal and external stakeholders.
Background
- Good experience and track record in related assignments.
- Electrical engineering degree.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience.
- English and Arabic language skills.
- Good knowledge of SFDC and other sales tools.
- Good knowledge of Hitachi Energy's portfolio, including transformers, high-voltage products, and capacitor banks.
