Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and experienced **Senior Safety Officer** to oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance across construction projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction site safety, risk assessment, incident prevention, and regulatory compliance.
Candidates must have a minimum of **4 years of UAE experience** in construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations and company safety policies.
- Conduct daily site inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Carry out risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions.
- Monitor work permits and ensure safe work practices are followed.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses and prepare reports.
- Coordinate with project teams to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with safety procedures.
- Participate in client and consultant safety audits and inspections.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of UAE experience in construction projects.
- NEBOSH IGC Certification (Mandatory).
- Knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and construction safety standards.
- Experience in high-rise, residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
