Senior Quantity Surveyor - Infrastructure

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Conduct cost analysis, estimation, and budgeting for infrastructure projects; prepare bills of quantities, specifications, and tender documents.
• Check survey data, measurement records, and project information for accuracy and completeness.
• Administer contracts, variations, claims, and change orders, maintaining clear stakeholder communication.
• Use quantity surveying software and land-information platforms for data storage, analysis, and reporting.
• Research legal records, contract terms, and industry standards to check compliance and identify risks.
• Prepare reports, plots, maps, and financial statements on project status and costs.
• Work with project teams, engineers, architects, and clients on requirements and cost management recommendations.
• Monitor spending against budgets, identify variances, and apply corrective measures.
• Mentor junior colleagues, assess and mitigate financial and contractual risks, and maintain audit-ready documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Quantity Surveyor certification or equivalent qualification recognized in the UAE.
• 8–10 years of quantity surveying experience, including 3–5 years in a senior capacity.
• Demonstrated expertise in cost estimation, budget management, and financial analysis.
