Key responsibilities
- Design, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and regression suites for web and mobile applications across projects.
- Perform functional, usability, localization, and RTL layout testing for Arabic-language interfaces.
- Validate Arabic AI outputs, including ASR transcriptions, classifications, and summaries across MSA, Gulf dialects, and Arabic-English code-switching scenarios.
- Test REST APIs and backend services using Postman or similar tools; build and maintain automated UI and API test suites.
- Track defects through resolution with developers and product owners in an agile environment.
- Participate in client UAT and support release-readiness sign-off.
- Test end-to-end data pipelines and platform workflows, including onboarding, task submission, and data validation.
- Contribute to QA process improvements, documentation standards, and quality metrics reporting.
Required qualifications
- At least five years of hands-on software QA experience in manual testing and automation.
- Native or fluent Arabic across reading, writing, and listening; professional working proficiency in English.
- Strong experience testing web and mobile applications on iOS and Android.
- Experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
- Solid API testing experience using Postman, REST Assured, or an equivalent.
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira or TestRail.
- Understanding of agile/Scrum processes.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, particularly for Arabic rendering, diacritics, and dialect variation.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience testing LLM or GenAI applications, such as prompt regression, non-deterministic output evaluation, hallucination detection, response scoring, or guardrail validation.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
- Basic Python or JavaScript scripting for test tooling.
