Remote, hourly contractor role evaluating AI-generated Python code and developing cases that test coding accuracy and reasoning quality.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated Python code for correctness, efficiency, readability, and real-world engineering standards.
- Identify bugs, logical errors, edge cases, and anti-patterns; explain corrections clearly in writing.
- Use structured rubrics to score code quality consistently across task types.
- Develop prompts and test cases for Python tasks, including multi-step problems grounded in real codebases.
- Rate and compare AI-generated solutions for correctness, consistency, and prompt adherence.
Profile requirements
- Python proficiency covering data structures, algorithms, standard libraries, optimization, and idiomatic practices.
- Ability to read, write, and critically evaluate Python code of varying complexity.
- Full professional English proficiency.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Reliability, self-direction, and consistent output in a remote asynchronous workflow.
Preferred experience
- A degree or background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field is preferred.
- Two or more years of professional Python software engineering experience is preferred.
- Prior AI data training, annotation, or model evaluation experience is preferred.
