Key Responsibilities
- Manage **end-to-end procurement** for wood, stainless steel, metal, and related materials
- Source and evaluate **local and international suppliers** to ensure best price, quality, and delivery timelines
- Handle **RFQs, negotiations, contracts, and supplier agreements**
- Coordinate closely with **production, estimation, and project teams** to understand material requirements
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment
- Oversee **logistics operations** including shipping, clearance, and delivery coordination
- Ensure compliance with company policies, cost control, and quality standards
- Develop and maintain strong **supplier relationships**
- Track procurement KPIs (cost savings, lead time, supplier performance)
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement processes
- **Requirements:**
- Proven experience in **procurement within trading & contracting companies**
- Strong exposure to **wood materials, joinery, stainless steel, and metal fabrication supplies**
- Solid knowledge of **supply chain and logistics operations** (local & international)
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Experience in handling **import processes, shipping, and customs clearance**
- Proficiency in **ERP systems and MS Excel**
- Excellent coordination and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in **Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field**
- **5–8+ years of relevant experience** (GCC experience preferred)
