Leads strategic sourcing, category management, supplier performance, and procurement transformation in a complex, multi-entity business.
Focuses on indirect materials, services, MRO, Capex, facilities, and IT.
Sourcing and supplier management
- Develop category strategies and lead sourcing across indirect materials, services, MRO, facilities, IT, logistics support, professional services, and operational requirements.
- Manage RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes, supplier evaluations, negotiations, supplier selection, contracts, and strategic supplier relationships.
- Benchmark suppliers and markets, analyze cost structures, monitor KPIs and SLAs, and manage contractual compliance and supplier risk.
Cost, governance, and transformation
- Deliver savings through strategic sourcing, spend consolidation, and value engineering; oversee Procure-to-Pay, policy compliance, and internal controls.
- Drive spend analytics, savings tracking, and performance reporting.
- Integrate procurement across entities and acquired operations; standardize processes, supplier agreements, governance, and operating procedures.
- Support SAP procurement optimization, digitalization, and continuous improvement.
Leadership and collaboration
- Lead, coach, and develop procurement professionals; work with Operations, Manufacturing, Finance, Legal, IT, and Supply Chain stakeholders.
- Translate operational requirements into sourcing strategies.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- 9–10 years of progressive procurement experience, including at least 4 years in a managerial or senior sourcing role.
- Strong indirect procurement experience, particularly in services, MRO, Capex, facilities, and IT.
- Expertise in strategic sourcing, RFx, supplier negotiations, contract management, and cost optimization.
- Working knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP procurement system.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Preferred qualifications
- MBA, Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, or CIPS certification.
- Experience managing procurement across multiple entities or business units; international sourcing and supplier management exposure.
- Experience with post-acquisition procurement integration and process harmonization.
