Role overview

Performance governance and field engagement

• Monitor contracting entities against schedules, budgets, and profitability targets; track SPI, CPI, and other project metrics.
• Oversee Earned Value analysis, contract asset valuation, and IPA/IPC billing performance across projects.
• Identify delays, cost overruns, and schedule slippages and drive corrective action plans.
• Visit active project sites across countries, validate metrics against on-ground progress, and identify risks and issues for escalation.
• Provide field-based insights for executive decisions and strategic project planning.

Reporting and stakeholder management

• Consolidate weekly and monthly project progress reports and performance data; develop executive dashboards and summaries.
• Present project updates and recommendations to COOs, CEOs, and the Holding CEO, highlighting critical risks and financial impacts.
• Chair the Delivery Escalation Forum for critical risks requiring executive decision support.
• Drive accountability with Project Directors, update Executive Directors, and escalate material issues.
• Align on billing, cash flow, and contract asset performance across the portfolio.

Strategy, governance, and leadership

• Direct prioritization, planning, and execution of the corporate project portfolio in line with strategy.
• Develop long-term EPMO maturity roadmaps and transformation initiatives.
• Develop EPMO governance frameworks, audit standards, and compliance measures; lead enterprise risk management, change control, and mitigation planning.
• Implement digital PMO systems, dashboards, automation tools, and AI-supported reporting; promote technologies that improve project visibility and predictability.
• Build and lead high-performing teams through capability development and foster accountability, excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Education and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction/Project Management, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
• PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
• 15–20+ years of enterprise PMO leadership, with early-career exposure to EPC, PPP, real estate, or contracting environments.
• Proven record governing projects from opportunity qualification and structuring through execution and delivery.
• Extensive Group- and Board-facing experience.

Knowledge and skills

• Deep understanding of project development, structuring, contracting, and execution phases.
• Financial and commercial capability in feasibility analysis, funding structures, cost control, and ROI management.
• Ability to orchestrate legal, finance, commercial, contractual, and execution stakeholders.
• Expertise in cross-functional and cross-entity risk and interface management.
• Ability to translate complex project realities into clear decision insights.
